Our stay at Kitara was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the entire staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Our guide and tracker were outstanding—knowledgeable, passionate, and made every game drive unforgettable. The food was delicious, and every detail of our stay exceeded expectations. We loved everything about it and would return in a heartbeat. Truly an indescribable experience!

Our stay at the beautiful Last Word Kitara was truly special. The lodge is set in a peaceful, breathtaking environment where you can completely immerse yourself in nature. The rooms are spacious, perfectly clean, and come with a beautiful balcony — the ideal spot to unwind between game drives. The food was outstanding throughout our stay. Every meal was delicious, and the attention to detail was impressive — the table was always beautifully set, with a different and thoughtful arrangement each time, which made every dining experience feel unique and personal. The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and always helpful. Everyone made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for, and their warmth added so much to our overall experience. A heartfelt thank you to our amazing guide Matt and tracker Patrick. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five all in one day, which was truly unforgettable. What really stood out was Matt’s genuine passion for animals — whether it was birds or big cats, his enthusiasm was contagious and made every sighting even more exciting. I particularly enjoyed watching how he and Patrick tracked the animals — carefully reading signs, interpreting tracks, and slowly piecing together where the wildlife might be. Being part of that process made each drive feel like a real adventure. This was such a wonderful way to celebrate my graduation. Amazing , wondeful! Impossible to describe with words.

Staff were very attentive and very professional. The food was excellent and very fresh. Dinner choices were very good. All of the staff were very friendly which in turn made it a very relaxed environment. We enjoyed the down time between game drives . We saw many animals but unfortunately on this trip we didn't see the elusive leopard. No ones fault this is the way of the bush.

Fantastic experience! Susanne & Pierre and of course the whole team were great. We felt very welcome and they took care of us very well. Food was great, this applies to breakfast, lunch and dinner. Just wonderful. Great game drives. Guide and tracker were fantastic and showed great lnowledge and passion for nature and animals. We felt safe in their hands. All was very well organised. This was our first safari and it was so special. Would love to go back.
