The game drives were excellent. Our guide, Jono, told us a lot about all the animals and birds we saw. The staff were all very helpful and we got to see elephants right by the deck outside our room on the first night.

Everything about this lodge is FIRST CLASS. The location, the quality of the lodge itself, the staff (ALL of whom are exceptional) and the whole 'African Experience' couldn't be encapsulated better than at Nambiti plains

The food was outstanding. Staff extremely polite, professional and friendly. Game ranger was very good.

The staff could never do enough, so attentive and personable. The property was everything you could possible want when travelling to Nambiti. The food was delicious and the chef ensured he came to explain the menu everyday. Such personal touches such as a birthday cake when out on our evening drive. The Game Drivers were amazing, fun and so knowledgeable. Jono was our allocated driver and we couldn't of asked for a better person, you could just tell he loved what he did and did everything o ensure we experienced as much as possible without overload!

From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. Check-in was smooth and we were warmly welcomed by Walter, who picked us up at the carpark and became our designated game driver for the rest of our stay. The staff greeted us with refreshing drinks and a cold face towel before taking us to lunch and then on a room tour. The property itself is incredible, it’s not fenced, so animals roam freely, which made the experience even more special. We always felt completely safe, especially at night when staff escorted us to and from our room in the dark. One afternoon we even had a cheetah right outside our room! The game drives were truly spectacular. I was lucky enough to see all of the Big 5, along with so many other animals. Every drive was unforgettable and felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It was so quiet and peaceful throughout our stay, and I loved that there was no TV in the rooms – it really allowed us to switch off, relax, and fully connect with nature. The food was also fantastic – we were so well-fed every day with delicious meals. The hospitality and warmth of the staff really stood out, they made us feel at home from start to finish. A huge thank you to everyone who made our stay so memorable. Next time I’m in South Africa, we’ll definitely be coming back!
