Although it's fairly close to the N3 - the property has a feeling of seclusion and privacy I was not expecting. It was a beautiful spot with the necessary facilities that we really enjoyed! Had there not been a thunderstorm (which was amazing in any case) we probably wouldve had a fire going outside just to enjoy watching and listening to the guinea fowl and the cattle close by!.

Wyford Farm is right in middle between Durban and Johannesburg so is a great place to stay. There are a few cottages on a working farm, all of them well-appointed and comfortable. There are beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The property is pet friendly so a great place to stay if you are travelling with a dog. It is easy to access the property, and the owner is very clear where the keys are kept to gain access to the cottage that has been assigned to you.

A beautiful farm, and an absolute delight! The setting is peaceful and picturesque and fresh country air. The cottage itself was spotless, cosy and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Check-in was incredibly easy and stress-free. Great spot for a stop over or break in driving !
