A truly charming location in a lovely town. I would have loved to stay longer than just one night to fully explore and experience everything the town has to offer. The owners are incredibly hands-on and welcoming, with thoughtful personal touches that make you feel right at home. Breakfast was amazing, served in a beautifully converted old church dating back to the early 1900s, which made the experience even more special. The owners are also extremely knowledgeable about the area, and thanks to their recommendations, I was able to comfortably and confidently explore the surrounding areas and sights.

The room was very spacious and well equipped with everything you might need. Bed was very comfortable and more than enough extra bedding should it have been cold.

The owners are very friendly and allowed early check-in. All staff are helpful, friendly and welcoming. I stayed in room 5. Everything was clean, tidy and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was clean and well planned out, with a very nice bath to relax in. Breakfast was delicious and the owners gave me advice on which road to take to go to Cradock as well as detailed information of things to do in and around Somerset-East. Secure and private parking. You feel safe at all times. I would definitely recommend staying at Angler and Antelope.

The guest house is situated on a big property with an old church. It has a big area for parking. The hosts are super friendly and Alan has an extensive collection of whiskies on offer. The breakfast and evening meals were superb. Annabelle's hand could be seen in the running and finer details of the interior and garden. Somerset East is a charming town, the Walter Battiss museum a must see. We will visit again to do some fly fishing.

I loved this venue - the team were so accommodating to our needs. The rooms were amazing - clean and super comfortable. We could eat at the venue and the food was delicious with a bar to suit any needs. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again. Loved it.
