Ganz einfach: alles Es ist wirklich das beste Guesthouse, das man sich vorstellen kann. Alle ist mit Liebe eingerichtet, das Haus ist wunderschön, der Garten ruhig. Wir haben das Frühstück geliebt, und Evelyne und Jan sind einfach wahnsinnig tolle Menschen, denen es sichtlich Spaß macht ihre Gäste zu verwöhnen. Es hat sich angefühlt wie bei Freunden und das kombiniert mit einem mega Service – wir kommen wieder!

Evelyn + Jan sind hervorragende Gastgeber. Sie kümmern sich vorzüglich um die Gäste, jedes Problem oder Frage wird gelöst. Wir haben das vorzügliche Frühstück mit leckeren Jan Spezial Avocado Brot, mit ihnen gemeinsam genossen. Ein Guest House mit viel Herz. Die Ausstattung ist sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig. Es liegt in einer Seitenstraße sodass es auch absolut ruhig ist.

Our stay at Bluemari's Retreat was an absolute delight from start to finish. It is a luxury retreat in every way... a beautiful house and garden in a quiet and safe location which exudes calm and serenity. All rooms are stylish and well equipped with comfy beds, quality bed linen and top notch bathrooms. The outdoor bath in Flamingo is fabulous. The pool area, dining room, lounge and library are beautiful too and we were made to feel so 'at home'. EVERYTHING is of the highest quality and EVERYWHERE is immaculate. Huge thanks to Jan and Evelyne who are superlative hosts, so charming and so efficient with great knowledge of the area. Serving the most delicious breakfasts including perfect poached eggs and omelettes, helping with recommendations for restaurants and adding many personal touches that made our stay so memorable. From homemade biscuits, a cellar of superb wines and a handy phone charger by the kettle to Christmas gifts and music on Christmas morning and an invitation to a braai on our last night. The best hotels just cannot match the style, charm and serenity of Bluemari's Retreat. If you are planning to stay near Cape Town, you must stay here!

Brand new guesthouse with beautiful and tasteful finishings. Rooms are spacious and beds very comfortable. The hosts and owners make you feel at home and go the extra mile for their guests. The breakfast is beyond delicious.

Bluemari is a very special place. The Gueshouse has been designed and furnished with excellent taste to a very HIGH standard. There are lovely areas for guest use including a solar heated pool with longer & seating areas, lounge etc The breakfast was absolutely fantastic; a great selection of fresh fruits, homemade muesli, cheese & cold meats, and freshly made bread. And a selection of delicious hot dishes. The Host was very charming and accommodating. And gave us excellent advice on good local restaurants, attraction etc. It scores 10 out of 10 We will be back!!
