The silence, I love just how peaceful this place is. Nell is an amazing host!!! She checked in on us via text regularly to make sure our stay was going well, but made sure we had the privacy we needed to fully enjoy the place and unwind. If you need a time out, but don't want to drive far, then this is definitely the place to go. Whether you’re a couple looking for a romantic break, a solo traveler, or someone wanting to reconnect with nature, Lekker Plekkie is an unforgettable getaway. With its combination of heartfelt hospitality and serene landscapes, it truly lives up to its name. What makes it special is its ability to make you slow down. The peaceful setting with stunning views make it a true retreat for the soul. Oh, the check in and check out times... I'm not going to say much, but it makes a world of difference, every host should do this. Just book and see... best ever!!!

Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen, umgeben von einem sehr schönen, gepflegten, blühendem Garten und sehr sicher. Das Haus selbst ist sehr wohnlich mit einem außergewöhnlich bequemen, großen Bett ausgestattet. Die Vermieter, Nell und Robin sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit und unterstützen einen mit Rat und Tat, Vorschlägen für Ausflüge und Restaurantbesuche. Uns hat es so gut gefallen, dass wir unseren Aufenthalt von 2 auf 6 Tage verlängert haben. Das Cottage liegt ideal, um das Weltkulturerbe „ Cradle of Humankind“ zu besuchen. Weiterhin kann man sehr schöne Wanderungen (sehr sicher, da mit Anmeldung) unternehmen, wie auch private Tierparks besuchen.

Peaceful Friendly and comfortable with everything you need

Very friendly hosts who made sure we had everything we needed to getl settled. Place was clean and well maintained. Very relaxing and quiet. Perfect place to chill out.

Environment

The cutest little cottage and Nell and Robin are incredible hosts. Cleanliness, attention to detail and value for money. Wish we had stayed longer but will certainly be going back when we're in the area again.

We eat not the breakfast - We enjoy the silence. We slept so well.

Very clean cottage with everything you need. The host gave us delicious homemade cookies. The bed was extremely comfortable and the garden labyrinth made it the perfect city escape.
