Incredible house, the bedrooms are perfectly tucked away from the entertainment area so kiddies can sleep early while the rest enjoy their evening without fear of disturbing. Stunning Views and overall an entertainers paradise.

What a magnificent property! Super easy to get to. Incredible views and the most beautiful, charming farmhouse. It appears to be fairly newly renovated and is a little rough around the edges, keeping in with the property’s character. Very comfortable and clean. An easy drive back into Underberg for supplies and an equally pleasant drive towards Silver Streams for waterfall jumping and tubing down the river. We found a beautifully quaint little cottage style supply shop at Silver Streams which stocks essentials. It’ll be lovely once Bushman’s Nek is up and running again as I’ve heard it’s a great lunch stop. Thanks to the snow storm in previous weeks, we had no Eskom and hot water was troublesome on our first night. The owner arranged a fully fuelled generator and a plumber was called in immediately to fix the water issue. Every effort was made to find solutions. The owner was available when we needed assistance and the neighbouring farmer acts as the host so was in constant touch until the issues were resolved. All in all a wonderful weekend of good clean fun and limited cellphone signal which means kids spend more time exploring, roaming, rock skipping, hot tubbing, and less time gaming! We found a couple of signal spots in the house and at the top of the driveway so you’re not completely out of touch with the world. We have found our new favourite spot in the Berg!
