Location was very central. Close to golf course, town (shops and restaurants), beaches and one block from the cliff path. The beds/pillows were extremely comfortable with crisp clean white linen.

Loved this place, beautifully decorated, exactly as in the photos, with lovely touches like nice bathroom products, elegant crockery, yoga mat etc. The kitchen is really well equipped with great gas cooker. Nice big TV. The courtyard is a beautiful space, with braai, a tree and small pool, heavenly. There are 3 en suite bedrooms, one is the other side of the courtyard and the other two are in the main house. Bedrooms and bathrooms are white polished concrete. Really comfortable mattress. Willard the manager was super helpful, great at communicating if he needed to come round to clean pool etc. I left my washbag behind and he drove around Hermanus until he found us to return it! Heartwood Cottage is beautiful, we’d definitely stay there again.
