Wir waren im Railway Carriage untergebracht, was sensationell und einzigartig und sogar mit eigenem Pool war. Etwas ganz Besonderes in Alleinlage im Game Reserve! Die beiden Game Drives waren ebenfalls einzigartig. Wi haben alles gesehen von Nashorn, über Elefantenherde ( ganz nah), zu Giraffen ( sogar direkt am Railway Carriage) , Löwen, Nilpferde, Büffel, Zebras.

The staff make the place and our safari guide was exceptional. The location is superb with wild animals very close to your room ( but safely). Couldn’t recommend highly enough is a safari is on your list.

La nostra estada ha estat excel·lent. A Founders Lodge han sapigut crear un entorn perfecte per a l’observació d’animals. A més les instal·lacions, el personal i el menjar és excel·lent. We enjoyed everything in all aspects. Craig and Glynis were exceptionally friendly. They treated us like a king and a queen. The service was impeccable in every regard, and the staff was very friendly and always smiling. WHAT A TREAT!

It is beautiful, from the landscaped gardens overlooking bushveld to the gorgeous rooms. The staff greeted us upon arrival and after every game drive. The food was great.

Excellent guide in Sikhumbuzo, proximity to animals and a superb lookout. Pool area well located. A beautiful room overlooking the reserve. Very friendly and helpful staff.

You’re right on the edge of the best reserve in the area & the game drives are all on the Shamwari Game Reserve. These are better than we ever expected & our ranger/guide, Cillia, was the best! Daniel at the Lodge managed everything for us & was always there for our needs, nothing was too much trouble & he ensured everything ran like clockwork. Cynthia was brilliant, always smiling and calm, Ntombi was also excellent and helped us with our questions about local culture. Overall superb!
