Wonderful staff, huge suite. The spa was great. The guest house is located on an ostrich farm. Dinner was excellent.

La Plume was gorgeous-the best place that we stayed during our journey of the Garden Route. The suites were so nicely appointed and super spacious. The breakfast was delicious and we were disappointed that we missed dinner (it was only a 3-course meal). I loved taking a bath in the beautiful bathroom and went for a run at sunrise through the ostrich farms. It’s only about a half hour from Cango Caves. My only regret is that we could not stay longer. This is definitely a place we could spend a few days to rest.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Plume. The room was immaculate, spacious and had an outside sitting area. The rooms and dining room offer an old-worldly elegance. The food was delicious and the staff exceptional.

This was a real find. The whole experience from the facilities to the team who looked after us was exceptional. We can’t enthuse enough about our stay - the whole time we spent there was perfect.

Incredible on every front, from the room to the bathroom to the food and the staff! The only negative was that we stayed only one night there - will definitely be back.

A truly memorable experience. The degree of luxurious appointment and size of our room and bathroom have to be sen to be believed. This guest house is owned by an ostrich farmer as a means of diversification and he offers personal tours of his farm which are very instructive and entertaining. Dinner was offered which we enjoyed a great deal, trying ostrich for the first time. The breakfast was very good with a wide variety of choice. The coffee was excellent which has not always been our experience on this trip. We would certainly recommend La Plume to anyone.

Lovely boutique hotel with great food and location. Unfortunately i was in the annex cottage 500m down the road which spoilt things a bit as i had to drive after my evening meal.
