One of the best hotels in South Africa.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Incredible value for money - this would >£500 per night in Europe. Fantastic beds, very large rooms and Tracey, the manager, is truly exceptional. She took care of everything, made breakfast extra special with the quality of food and service and was always on hand to help. Overall, one of the best hotels we have stayed in across Europe and africa.

Wonderful place. Prince Albert in itself might not be the most exiting but staying at De Bergkant and having dinner eating Karoolamb at the Prince Albert café sure is. An absolute delight. Thank you Tracey for beiing an extraordinary hostess.

Tracey is extremely welcoming and makes you feel right at home! She is so friendly as well as all the other staff members. The breakfasts are beyond delicious and so are the poolside sides! Definitely recommend the hotel for spectacular accommodation and delicious food

Really charming little hotel, filled with beautiful antiques, quirky features and spotlessly clean. Their service and attention to detail was incredible, lots of wonderful beautiful little touches everywhere. Breakfast was in a whole new league of its own, beautifully sourced local ingredients presented and cooked to perfection. You'll be hard pushed to find a better hotel anywhere, it was truly impressive. Thank you Tracy and team for making our stay so memorable.

the loveliest and most charming little place. if you stay in prince albert, staying at de bergkrant is a MUST. the ambience is a world of tranquility and whimsy. the breakfast was heavenly—with fruit, cake and other delights served by the pool terrace area ( all the while listening to colonies of local birds sing). the whole stay was (and no pun intended) a true breath of fresh air! and importantly — we got to bring our dog, Boston, which made the whole stay more welcoming and exciting. the staff went above and beyond, all incredibly personable.
