I had an exceptional experience at the game reserve this past weekend. The staff was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive to all our needs. The reserve itself is beautifully maintained, offering breathtaking views and a tranquil atmosphere.

This delightful bush lodge in the heart of the Dinokeng Game Reserve was charming. We stayed in one of the log cabins that had wonderful views to the western setting sun.

Absolutely every detail was considered. We stayed four days without leaving our luxury villa and wanted for nothing. I don’t think one thing could have made it better!

We had an amazing time. The staff were so friendly and everything was neat. They pay attention to the small touches.

Absolutely delightful! I booked three nights, and stayed for a fourth. I would move in and live there, if I could. In the heart of the Dinokeng Game Reserve, in a completely quiet and dark part of the reserve. Kudu, giraffe, and ostrich strolled past the front gate. The hosts are generous beyond compare. The staff was equally friendly, kind, and generous. The cabin where I stayed was scrupulously clean, with a deeply comfortable bed and a firepit, that I lit on my last night. I slept, and slept. And when I wasn't sleeping--self driving miles of routes around the reserve. While the "Big 5" remained elusive, the zebra, giraffe, wildebeast, kudu, impala, warthog, jackals and more were out in force. Many juveniles, including, on my way out, a gorgeous mama giraffe and her little one, right by her side. I would go back in a heartbeat, and will, at the next opportunity. Oh, and I did see lions . . . thanks to the host, Tiene. Do locate and check out the bird hide, and bring binoculars. And buy honey at the Honey Lodge . . .
