This is an exceptional lodge with beautiful views, great facilities and marvellous staff. The accommodation was spacious, spotless and tastefully decorated, and the routine from breakfast through lunch to pre-dinner drinks and dinner made it easy to mix with other guests and enjoy great food. If you're staying here you'll probably be adding on the tours of Isandlwana, Rorke's Drift and Melvill/Coghill graves, and the guides are superb. The onsite museum has a fabulous collection and although we only stayed for two nights we'd recommend at least three to enjoy the whole experience.
