This visa is issued to those with the intention to study in any institution in Faroe Islands.
Applicants are to follow the requirements for a valid passport and visa application.
The applicant is expected to have a proof of enrollment in a school in the Faroe Islands .
There should also be a no- objection certificate issued and signed by the school of admission.
The applicant must prove that he or she has a means of sustenance and financial support throughout the study period.
Applicants of this visa must be issued a residence permit. There should also be a work permit if your education program requires a mandatory internship.
An authentic residence and work permit document must be presented alongside other documents.
A proof of accommodation for the duration of stay is required.
Documents that show the letter or appointment at the place of internship should also be provided in the case where it is mandatory.

A completed Schengen visa application form specifying that it is applicable only in Faroe Islands.
A valid passport with over three months of validity beyond the planned stay.
Two 2 x 2 cm passport sized photographs.
Valid identification documents such as the applicants national I.D card, birth certificate etc .
An authentic insurance document for the duration of stay.
Proof of financial support or stability.
A return ticket to South Africa.
