Tourist Visa from South Africa to Suriname Description

Holders of this visa visit the country for relaxation, recreation and sightseeing purposes.
Applicants intending to visit family and relatives in the country may apply for this visa.
If you are visiting someone in the country, a letter of invitation from your host is required.
Home address and telephone number of your host should be stated in detail in the letter.
If you are not a South African, a copy of your South African stay permit is required.
Minors should ensure they have the original copy of their birth certificate. If minors are travelling with neither of their parents, they should have a consent letter which should be signed by both their parents.
Before this visa can be issued to you, you are required to have a yellow fever vaccination certificate.
Foreigners cannot study while they are in the country.
You are not allowed to take part in business activities while you are in the country.
All visitors are expected to obey all the rules guiding their visa.
You are not allowed to participate in any religious vocations.
The visa is valid for 30 days.

Passport which has a validity of 6 months from period of departure from the country. The passport should have one blank page for entry stamp.
Duly completed visa application form which has been signed and stamped where necessary.
Two recent passport-size photographs which should be taken with a white background.
Bank statement which is not older than 3 months from the period of entry to the country showing steady and continuous flow of income.
Valid travel insurance which covers medical insurance.
Proof of accommodation for the duration of your stay in the country.
Return or onward ticket.
Copy of travel itinerary.
