This is the visa for those traveling to Ghana to enjoy the wonderful attractions in Ghana.
If you intend to visit relatives or friends in the country, this is the visa type for you.
If the applicant is under the age of 18, both parents must sign the visa application form.
With this kind of visa, you are not permitted to take up paid employment in the country.
You are not allowed to extend your stay past the 3 months validity.
A letter of invitation from your host in Ghana is required.
Your host’s passport copy and house address should be tendered.
Applicants visiting the country for tourist purposes should present a proof of hotel accommodation.
This visa has two sub-categories; the single-entry tourist visa and the multiple entry tourist visa.

Four copies of visa application form which have been correctly filled and signed where necessary. The visa application form should be filled in capital letters.
South African passport with a validity of not less than 6 months. Applicants with carrying passports with less than 6 months validity will not be attended to.
Four copies of passport-sized photographs. These photographs should be identical and not more than 3 months old.
Confirmed return flight ticket.
Travel itinerary.
Travel insurance.
Proof that you have been vaccinated against yellow fever.
Proof of payment of visa application fees.
