Holders of this visa aim to board a connecting flight from Ghana to their destination country.
The visa of the destination country is required.

Applicants of this visa are prohibited from taking up paid work.
Transit visa has two sub-categories which are; Single-entry transit visa and Multiple-entry transit visa.

Four copies of visa application form which have been correctly filled and signed where necessary. The visa application form should be filled in capital letters.
South African passport with a validity of not less than 6 months. Applicants with carrying passports with less than 6 months validity will not be attended to.
Four copies of passport-sized photographs. These photographs should be identical and not more than 3 months old.
Confirmed return flight ticket.
Travel itinerary.
Travel insurance.
Proof that you have been vaccinated against yellow fever.
Proof of payment of visa application fees.
