Tourist Visa from South Africa to Mauritania Description

This visa is for travelers with the intention of visiting Mauritania for sightseeing, relaxation and recreation.
The tourist visa also doubles as a visitor visa.
Holders of this visa are neither allowed to work nor study while in the country.
Vaccination against hepatitis A and B, rabies, tetanus and polio is highly recommended.
Yellow ever vaccination certificate is required.
Minors are expected to be in possession of the original copy of their birth certificate.
A letter of invitation from your host in the country is required. The letter should contain a valid means of identification of your host as well as your host’s home address
You are expected to abide by the rules of your visa.
At the expiry of your visa, you are to leave the country at the expiry of your visa.
Receipt of paid visa application fees is required.
Avoid taking tap water. There is a huge possibility that the water is contaminated.
The visa is valid for 90 days.

One copy of duly completed visa application form.
Bank statement which is not older than 3 months showing sufficient and sufficient flow of funds for the duration of your stay in the country.
Return and onward ticket with entry and exit dates.
Copy of travel itinerary.
Proof of accommodation.
Two passport sized photographs not older than six months which is in accordance with the passport format for a visa application.
Valid passport with a validity of at least 6 months from the date of visa application. The visa should have one blank page.
Valid travel insurance.
