  • Properly filled and signed visa application form.
  • Two passport sized photographs taken with a white background and showing the face fully. 
  • Valid South African passport with at least 6 months validity left on the date of travel and  2 visa pages clear of any markings.
  • Travel itinerary for the duration of the visit in Morocco.
  • Confirmed flight reservation with dates of entry and exit from Morocco.
  • Proof of  financial capability for the duration of stay.
  • Proof of accommodation which could be a letter of invitation if invited or hotel reservations if otherwise.
  • If the applicant is a minor, the parents/legal guardians have to sign the form. If the applicant is a minor travelling alone, the parents/legal guardian have to sign the form, while the non travelling parent has to sign a letter of consent if a minor is travelling with one.

  • Proof of legal residence or a resident permit as recent as 3 months.
  • Travelers with pets are required to present a health certificate of less than 10 days & an anti-rabies certificate less than six months old.
  • It is illegal to bring more than MAD100 of local currency out of Morocco.
  • The tap water in Morocco contain high minerals and travelers are advised against drinking it as it could lead to illness.
  • You cannot exchange Moroccan Dirham outside the country's borders so plan your currency exchange transactions before hand.
  • Visa is valid for 90 days
  • It is advisable to apply at least 6 weeks before the intended trip date.
