This is a visa type mainly for government officials.
The visit Lithuania to try to improve the bilateral relationship between their home country and Lithuania.
An official invitation letter is needed.
A valid means of identification of the applicant should be tendered.

You are not allowed to take up work with this visa while you are in the country.

A letter from the South African government stating your status in the government. Your purpose of visit and duration of stay in the country should also be stated.
The visa takes 15 days to be processed.

Accurately filled and signed application form.
Two coloured passport sized photographs taken with a white background and showing the face fully. These photographs should be attached to the application form.
Copies of your previous visas along with your passport. The passport should have a validity of 3 months from the intended date of entry into the country.
Travel insurance with a minimum of €30000 covering medical insurance.
Travel itinerary for the duration of the visit in the country.
Proof of sustenance for the duration of stay in the country.
Confirmed flight reservation with dates of entry and exit from Lithuania.
Bank statement showing sufficient finance for the period of stay in the country. The bank statement should span a period of 6 months from the period of application of the visa.
Proof of accommodation for the duration of stay in the country.
