Medical Visa from South Africa to Iran Description

This is for foreigners who need visit Iran for medical purposes.
A letter of invitation from the medical institution in Iran is required.
Diagnosis from your local doctor stating your ailment and the reason you cannot get the desired treatment in Iran.
Proof of paid medical bills is required.
You are expected to leave the country at the end of your treatment.
Minors should ensure they have the original copy of their birth certificate. A letter of consent signed by both parents is also needed.
Holders of this visa are not allowed to take up paid or unpaid employment with this visa.

Valid passport that does not expire for 6 months after the date of exit from Iran. The passport should have two blank pages facing each other.
A copy of correctly filled and signed application form.
Two coloured passport-sized photographs. The photo must follow the specification for a visa application.
Proof of sufficient funds. This is to show that you can cater for yourself for the duration of your stay in the country.
Photocopies of all the required documents should be made prior to submission.
Proof of accommodation.
Travel itinerary.
