Medical Visa from South Africa to Romania Description

Medical visa is issued to foreigners who visit Romania with the intention of seeking medical attention in Romania.
You are required to present a document from your local physician stating your ailment and the reason treatment cannot be gotten in South Africa.
A letter of invitation from the medical facility taking up the responsibility of your treatment is required. The letter should state if there is an organization taking up the payment of your medical fees or if you will be responsible for it.
If the applicant of this visa is a minor, a document which serves as a proof of parental consent is required.
The original copy of the minor’s birth certificate should be provided.
Proof of yellow fever vaccination is required.
You are not allowed to work or seek public funds with this visa.
At the conclusion of your treatment, you are required to leave the country.
An extension may be granted at the expiry of the visa if the treatment is not completed.

One copy of duly completed visa application form.
Bank statement which is not older than 3 months showing sufficient and sufficient flow of funds for the duration of your stay in the country.
Two 30 mm x 40 mm passport-sized photographs.
Return and onward ticket with entry and exit dates.
Copy of travel itinerary.
Proof of accommodation.
Two passport sized photographs not older than three months which is in accordance with the passport format for a visa application.
Valid passport with a validity of at least 6 months from the date of visa application. The visa should have one blank page.
Valid travel insurance.
