  • The tourist visa allows travelers to visit various tourist sites in Slovenia for relaxation and recreation purposes.

Tourist Visa from South Africa to Slovenia Requirements

  • Properly and correctly completed application form which has been signed where necessary.
  • The passport used for this application must have at least 6 months validity remaining on the day of travel. Your passport should have two blank pages for visa stamps.
  •  You'll need to show proof that you're capable of fending for yourself in Slovenia. This proof could come in form of recent financial statements from your or that of any intending sponsors.
  • Two recent passport-size photograph taken with a white background. The passport should follow the photo specification for a visa application. 
  • A valid travel insurance with minimum cover of EUR30,000 is needed for the application.
  • You'll be required to provide flight reservations for Slovenia as well as your return ticket back to South Africa.
  • Copy of  your travel itinerary is needed for this application.
  • You'll need to show proof that you have a place to stay when you're in Slovenia. This proof of accommodation could be hotel reservations or a letter of invitation from your host in Slovenia.
  • This letter should state the purpose, duration of your visit and intent to host you. A valid means of identification of your host will be required.
  • Each person travelling with you on your travel document must submit their own visa form.
  • It's a short stay visa that allows you stay in Slovenia or any of the Schengen countries for 90 days.
  • This visa is valid for 90 days.
  • You can use this visa to enter other Schengen countries during your visa validity.
  • You're expected to leave Slovenia before the expiry of your visa.
