Business Visa from South Africa to Slovenia Description

  • Foreigners who apply for this visa intend to visit Slovenia to foster business relationships with already existing partners or to build up relationships with new partners.
  • You can negotiate and sign contracts with business partners in the country.
  • With this visa, you can attend conferences, trade fairs and business summits while in the country.
  • A letter from your employer in South Africa should be provided. Your position in the company, duration and purpose of your visit should be stated in the letter.
  • Letter of invitation from the company you are meeting up with in Slovenia should be provided. If the company is going to be in charge of your expenses during your stay in the country, it should be stated in the letter.
  • The company should state the purpose of your visit and how long you will be staying in the country.
  • Certificate of business registration of the company you are meeting with in Slovenia is required.
  • If you have had previous business dealings with the company you are meeting with, you are required to present a proof of this.
  • Foreigners with this visa are not allowed to take up paid or unpaid employment in the country.
  • If you are under the age of 18 years, the original copy of your birth certificate should be provided as well as a signed consent form from both of your parents.
  • Holders of this visa are not allowed to seek public funds.
  • You are required to leave the country as soon as your visa expires.

Business Visa from South Africa to Slovenia Requirements

  • Properly and correctly completed application form which has been signed where necessary.
  • The passport used for this application must have at least 6 months validity remaining on the day of travel. Your passport should have two blank pages for visa stamps.
  •  You'll need to show proof that you're capable of fending for yourself in Slovenia. This proof could come in form of recent financial statements from your or that of any intending sponsors.
  • Two recent passport-size photograph taken with a white background. The passport should follow the photo specification for a visa application. 
  • A valid travel insurance with minimum cover of EUR30,000 is needed for the application.
  • You'll be required to provide flight reservations for Slovenia as well as your return ticket back to South Africa.
  • Copy of  your travel itinerary is needed for this application.
  • You'll need to show proof that you have a place to stay when you're in Slovenia. This proof of accommodation could be hotel reservations or a letter of invitation from your host in Slovenia.
  • This letter should state the purpose, duration of your visit and intent to host you. A valid means of identification of your host will be required.
  • Each person travelling with you on your travel document must submit their own visa form.
  • It's a short stay visa that allows you stay in Slovenia or any of the Schengen countries for 90 days.
  • This visa is valid for 90 days.
  • You can use this visa to enter other Schengen countries during your visa validity.
  • You're expected to leave Slovenia before the expiry of your visa.
