This visa is for foreigners who visit Bolivia with the intention of relaxing and visiting tourist sites in the country.
Visitation of friends and relatives in the country can also be done with this visa type.
Foreigners who intend to visit friends and relatives should possess an invitation letter from their host in the country.
Receipt of paid visa application fees should be presented during the visa application process.
If the applicant is a minor, a legal letter of consent from minor’s parent should be provided.
You are not allowed to take up paid or unpaid employment while in the country.
It is illegal for travelers to seek public funds.
Foreigners on tourist visa are not allowed to study in the country.
You are expected to leave the country as soon as your visa expires.

One copy of correctly completed visa application form. The application form should be duly signed where necessary.
Valid passport. The passport should have two blank pages and should be valid for 6 months after exit from the country.
Two recent passport-sized photographs taken with a red background. The photograph should be 4 x 4 centimetres.
Proof of subsistence for the duration of your stay in country. This should be in the form of bank statement which is not older than 3 months from prior to the day of application.
Proof of accommodation for the duration of stay in the country.
Travel insurance.
Copy of travel itinerary.
Return flight ticket to South Africa.
