  • Applicants of this visa who intend to attend business conferences in the country are advised to register for the conference before they leave South Africa. The certificate of registration will be needed for the visa application.
  • A letter of invitation written on the company’s letterhead should be provided. The letter should state the duration and purpose of your visit to Equatorial Guinea.
  • Proof of financial sponsorship from your company indicating that you are an employee and that the services you will provide in Equatorial Guinea.
  • If the travel expenses of the applicant will not be covered by the company, this should be expressly stated in the letter.
  • The certificate of business registration of the inviting company in Equatorial Guinea is required.
  • Proof that you are a South African resident must be provided. Non-citizens should provide a copy of their stay permit.
  • The original birth certificate of minors is required. A letter of consent signed by both parents is required if the minor is travelling alone and signed by the non-travelling parent if travelling with one.
  • Applicants on this visa cannot be paid for the services they render while they are in the country.
  • You are required to leave Equatorial Guinea at the expiration of your visa.

Business Visa from South Africa to Equatorial Guinea Requirements

  • Visas are required by South African passport holders and they can be issued on arrival if prior authorization has been reached with the Equatorial Guinean Foreign Ministry in Malabo.
  • Passport with at least 6 months validity from intended trip date and at least one blank page.
  • Ensure your passport is properly stamped on arrival and departure to avoid false detention.
  • Two recent colored passport photographs.
  • Proof of travel itinerary is required.
  • Original certificate of vaccination against Yellow Fever. Duly completed & signed application form.
  • Proof of financial capability.
  • Police report or certificate of good conduct is required from a South African police station. 
  • Complete travel itinerary.
  • Proof of accommodation for intended period of stay.
  • Copy of return flight ticket.
  • Medical insurance. 
  • Letter showing purpose of travel.
  • Recommended vaccination against Typhoid, Hepatitis A, Tetanus, Meningitis, Polio, Rabies, Malaria &   Prophylaxis
  • Minors travelling alone require a letter of consent signed by both parents. If travelling with one   parent, a letter of consent signed by the parent not travelling is required. 
  • Original birth certificate is required for children under 18 regardless of who they are travelling with.
  • This visa is valid for 2 months and can be used for a stay period of 60 days which can be extended to   90 days.
