The tourist visa allows travelers to visit various tourist sites for relaxation and recreation purposes.
If you intend visiting friends and relatives in the country, you can do so with this visa.
Foreigners with this visa are not permitted to partake in business activities.
You are not permitted to be employed while in the country.
The tourist visa does not allow you take up a course to study in one of the institutions in the country.
If you are visiting a friend or relative in the country, you are required to have a letter of invitation from your host.
The invitation letter should include the home address, telephone number and a valid means of identification of your host.
Minors should ensure they provide an unabridged original copy of their birth certificate.
For non-South Africans, a copy of your South African stay permit is required.
All travelers are expected to have a yellow fever vaccination certificate.
You are required to show a proof of paid visa application fee.
As soon as the visa expires, you are expected to leave the country.
The visa ceases to be valid after 3 months.

Valid national passport which has a validity of 3 months after entry into the country with one blank page.
Bank statement which is not older than 3 months from the period of entry to the country. This is proof that you can cater for yourself during the period of your stay in the country.
Properly and correctly completed application form which has been signed where necessary.
One recent passport-size photograph taken with a white background. The passport should follow the photo specification for a visa application. The passport should not be attached to the application form.
Valid travel insurance with minimal medical coverage of €30,000.
Return and onward ticket.
Copy of travel itinerary.
Proof of accommodation for the duration of your stay in the country.
