The transit visa allows foreigners to make short stays in the country.
Applicants of this visa intend to change airport, go from airport to train or bus station or even change terminals.
Flight ticket and visa of the destination country should be presented during the visa application process.
For non-South Africans, a copy of their South African stay permit is required. The permit should be valid for at least three months beyond the planned stay in Slovakia.
Minors should ensure they have the unabridged original copy of their birth certificate.
The receipt of paid visa application fees should be tendered.
You are neither allowed to study nor work with this visa.
You are expected to leave the country before your visa expires.
Transit Visa from South Africa to Slovakia Requirements
Valid national passport which has a validity of 3 months after entry into the country with one blank page.
Bank statement which is not older than 3 months from the period of entry to the country. This is proof that you can cater for yourself during the period of your stay in the country.
Properly and correctly completed application form which has been signed where necessary.
One recent passport-size photograph taken with a white background. The passport should follow the photo specification for a visa application. The passport should not be attached to the application form.
Valid travel insurance with minimal medical coverage of €30,000.
Return and onward ticket.
Copy of travel itinerary.
Proof of accommodation for the duration of your stay in the country.
