The Aruban tourist visa is issued to people who want to visit the country for tourism and leisure purposes. Tourists are required to fill an online ED (Embarkation-Disembarkation) card and get it signed. This card allows tourists request admittance into Aruba and should be submitted upon arrival in the country. South African nationals must hold a passport valid for period of intended stay in Aruba. One blank passport page is required for entry stamps. Take note of these information while providing a photograph for your visa application: The photo must be recent (not older than six months from the date of application) and must show full face. The photo must be taken with a gray background. There should be no patterns reflected on the background. The photo should also be taken with a neutral expression. Applicants should have proof of financial stability for their stay in the country. Attached to the aforementioned documents should be a proof of assured accommodation for the applicant’s duration of stay. If the tourist would be staying in a resident’s home, there should be a letter of invitation or guarantee from the resident. The resident has to send the letter to the applicant for submission. To live and work in Aruba, you must have a valid residence permit from the Directorate of Alien Integration, Policy and Admission ( DIMAS ) . The applicant must also get a work permit to complete the process. Requests for work permits will only be considered if the permits were filed by a local employer of Aruba. There should be proof that the employer would take full responsibility for the foreigner who would be issued this permit.
