Tourist visa enables foreigners to visit Guinea for relaxation, sightseeing and recreation. This visa also serves as a visitor visa. You can visit friends and relatives with this visa. Holders of this visa are prohibited from being paid for services they render while in the country. Minors should ensure they are in possession of the original copy of their birth certificate. Foreigners visiting friends and relative in the country should provide a letter of invitation from their host in the country. The letter should have the home address and telephone number of the host. A copy of your South African stay permit will be requested if you are not a citizen of South Africa. Copies of all the original copies of your documents should be made available as the original copies may not be returned by the embassy. The receipt of your paid visa fees should be provided. You are expected to leave the country at the expiry of your visa. Yellow fever vaccination is compulsory. Immunization against hepatitis A, hepatitis B, malaria, polio and meningitis is recommended.

The certificate of business registration of the company you are visiting in Guinea is required. Letter with the official company letterhead from your current employer in South Africa is required. Your employer should state that he/she is aware of your business leave. Your position in the company should be stated in the letter. Minors traveling without their parents should provide a letter of consent which is signed by both parents. An unabridged original copy of your birth certificate should be provided. You cannot take up paid or unpaid employment with this visa. It is mandatory for all travelers to have a yellow fever vaccination certificate.
