Holders of this visa visit the country for relaxation, recreation and sightseeing purposes. Applicants intending to visit family and relatives in the country may apply for this visa. If you are visiting someone in the country, a letter of invitation from your host is required. Home address and telephone number of your host should be stated in detail in the letter. If you are not a South African, a copy of your South African stay permit is required. Minors should ensure they have the original copy of their birth certificate. If minors are travelling with neither of their parents, they should have a consent letter which should be signed by both their parents. Before this visa can be issued to you, you are required to have a yellow fever vaccination certificate. Foreigners cannot study while they are in the country. You are not allowed to take part in business activities while you are in the country. All visitors are expected to obey all the rules guiding their visa.
